Jennifers body

Just watched Jennifers Body, which, incidentally, i had thought was a comedy teen thing. which i spose it was, but with a fair amount of gore thrown in. glad i watched in the morning ! i am a total wuss when it comes to horror films or simulated fear of any kind really, and the daylight helped with that (Looooozer).

it did have a nice uplifting ending though so overall im pleased with it. (soundtrack, eye candy etc all not bad) a 3.5.

i am lazing about watching movies in the morning coz the three stooges (i should look up what stooge actually means) are at school, no housework fairy today and manfriend is out at meetings and suchlike. I am onto the second term of all of my children being of full time school age and i have to say... not working is really rather suiting me just now. Boredom less of a problem now i have freedom to fill tracts of my time with stuff i want to do. felt guilty and anxious about not doing something 'constructive' all the way through the first term, but i think im over that now :D

also, i am hypochondriac central with my chest-wall pain issue bugging me (it is not remotely serious or worrying, just annoyingly painful from time to time. like now.) and having woken up with mean tummy cramps, which are not bothering me now. i googled my symptoms earlier (hahaha) and predictably i have diagnosed myself with Cancer of the Everything with a prognosis of Imminent Death. Naturally, this requires lazing about.

Lovely friend who is also a skin guru gave me some products yesterday for my crap skin and having used them only twice so far i am in LOVE with my face ;)... she even said that the dryness was just, uh, another word for dry ANd that by using this stuff as directed most of my 'lines' will go. i look at least 5 years younger already :scientific:

other lovely friend is coming round soon with delightful daughter on a speculative raid of the dressing room, coz shes going out and everything she owns is documented on facebook already. its tough to be such a social whirlwind ;)

and am bemused with self for not having remembered it was here.

Am off to bed to watch a lovefilm dvd, but might start posting on here again. dont suppose i can put pictures on it, can i? i mean, in mass batches. (who am i asking?? im the only one who knows this is here, and even I'd forgotten!)

am sorely tempted to spend ridiculous money on here: http://www.the-all-in-one-company.co.uk/index.php i only started looking for a fleece all-in-one sleepsuit for Gussie, coz hes fallen in love with his old one he can barely do up, the little oddball. but now i want a microfleece suit with ears and an ipod pocket... other dangerous site found recently is Zazzle.co.uk (i think) where you can custom design little slip on Keds/Vans shoes with dinosaur prints, or any combo of colours you like. fifty quid a pair tho, so they'll have to be for special occasions!

JUST about the funniest thing i've seen all year... ROFL. (i dont know these people btw, the pic is from a webiste called awkward family photos.com. tooooooo amusement.

Good news:

• watched Juno tonight. lovely movie !
• Max and new friend Amelia laughed hysterically and had lots of fun swimming today.
• tasty lunch at local pub with kids and good pal, Jojo.
• cleaned out the chicken houses and replaced all bedding. needed the workout.
• Spoke to Jas on phone last night. only 6 weeks till her wedding. madness!
• Lots of lovely cuddles with the 3 stooges.

Rubbish news:

• have nibbled all my nails off again. twonk.
• miss sophie and grainne
• was grumpy bitch with max and gus earlier for no good reason. snapped out of it tho (phew)
